Training & Growth
We offer numerous training and educational opportunities for our employees, where 1,256 training courses were offered during 2007, constituting of 3,140 training days, with a total number of 9,767 training opportunities ( approximately, two training opportunities per employee).
In addition to the regular training courses offered by the Bank throughout the year, Arab Bank is considered a market leader in introducing special talent management programs targeting both, fresh graduates as well as existing high performing staff. Currently, we are running the following two strategic training programs:

Ruwad "Pioneers" Program: a strategic training and development program aiming at attracting distinguished graduates from universities in accordance with a pre-set criteria, to undergo an intensive 6 – 9 months intensive theoretical and practical training covering various technical banking activities, and selected personal and interpersonal skills. Successful participants will be deployed to various lines of business and support functions, wherein they are placed on a fast track scheme to qualify them for key positions in the Bank.

Qeyadat "Leaders" Program: a strategic training & development program aiming at identifying distinguished top performing existing staff to qualify them to assume key jobs in various lines of business within the bank by undergoing an intensive theoretical and practical training covering advanced aspects of banking, as well as quality courses covering various interpersonal, management and leadership skills.
